Dead pixel failure repairs on Peugeot 206 speedometer
Old Peugeot 206 speedometers may suffer from the common dead / fading / disappearing pixels on the LCD display that shows the mileage on the speedometer. The problem lies with the ribbon cable / flat cable that connects the LCD display to the circuit board of the instrument cluster. This is a heat seal connector, so you need to buy a „T head” to solder the new cable in.
