Several SAAB models suffer from the common dead / fading / disappearing pixel problem on the SID1 SID2 and the AC / Air conditioning control unit. The problem lies with the ribbon cable (see the site with the ribbon cables in the main menu on the left), however some cases the LCD display is also cracked or scratched, so it need to be replaced too.
